Grass
So, I'm an interior design snob, which is hilarious because I live in a tiny shoebox sized house. Anyway, I got this really pretty large red glazed bowl to put on my white farm house kitchen table. I filled it with dirt, and planted some grass in it, that I was carefully trimming to keep it level, it looked really stylized and good. Then yesterday, my beautiful grass is all crushed down in a weird C shape. Like a crop circle, or something. I am staring at it, trying to fathom what could of happened, and then it hit me. The cat has been sleeping on the grass.

But of COURSE, you silly woman!
And how very nice of you to plant & maintain it JUST for that purpose!
That's funny!

( Check out my blog when you have a second - check my " Tic Tac " tag. I have a February post with a picture of Tic Tac all curled up nicely in her ( MY! ) terrarium, all happyz...)
Awww! Why don't you get a pic of that? I bet that's cute. Everyone will be wanting a "bowl full of kitty" to sit on their table!
Many years ago, I had a GORGEOUS BIG Jade plant on the floor in my livingroom. It was healthy and beautiful - probably stood about 2 1/2 foot high in the planter --- and the planter was a beautiful deep dark delft blue pottery one.
Months go by, and I'm starting to notice that the Jade Plant That I Love is starting to look not so good - leaves starting to UNplump - turning yellow here and there...
Oh yeah...eventually I realized what wonderful litterbox it was for my then-kitties, Tic Tac and Toe...I couldn't believe they KILLED my beautiful Jade Plant That I Loved. . .
" cat pee on my farmhouse table " --- That sounds like it could be a title for a pastel still-life, kRista...&:o)
